Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our member wineries are a safe place to visit and taste wine.
Collectively our members are dedicated to the highest standards of cleanliness for the health and safety of their visitors and staff.
Here are some tips to help you plan your visit to the Shawangunk Wine Trail. If you have specific questions that aren’t answered here, please call the Wine Trail office at 845-256-8456 Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.
Masks:
If you are un-vaccinated, please wear a mask when you are indoors or in close proximity of others. Wineries may have their own specific policies, please check with them first.
Reservations and Walk-Ins:
Most wineries are now accepting walk-ins. Some still require reservations. We strongly encourage you to contact the winery you wish to visit in advance. Please review individual winery policies listed below.
Groups/Transportation/Lodging:
Always confirm winery policies before booking transportation or lodging. See our transportation and lodging partners.
Don’t Forget Your ID:
A valid photo ID with proof of age is required to participate in wine tasting. Please have your ID ready upon arrival.
Enjoy and Be Safe:
Weekends in particular can get very busy at the wineries. Walk-ins may need to wait for a table or entrance into the building. Please be patient and kind to winery staff. We’re all in this together.
