Let’s partner up for success in 2020. Annual enrollment is now open, but hurry! You MUST sign up no later than Friday, October 4, 2019.

The Shawangunk Wine Trail is one of the leading tourist destinations in the Hudson Valley, attracting over 100,000 visitors annually. Our 15 member wineries host visitors from near and far all year round. Besides their love of the wine tasting experience, our visitors almost always seek transportation, lodging, restaurants, and other special attractions located in the region while visiting. Each year we reach out to locally-owned restaurants, lodging and transportation companies, and area attractions to participate in our tourism partner program.

Our program is the perfect way to reach hundreds of thousands of potential customers by taking advantage of several great opportunities that include a variety of marketing channels. This year we’re very excited to add a brand new top-level to our program.

We offer four partnership levels, each developed to increase the visibility of your business among SWT visitors and initial inquiries of those planning to visit our member wineries.

2020 Shawangunk Wine Trail Guide & Map
In an effort to lighten our carbon footprint we have scaled down our 16 page guide to a nicely condensed and easier to navigate large foldout brochure! This attractive, full-color marketing tool stands out from the rest, opening to a 16” x 18” full-color spread features a pinned regional map of our member wineries and our partner locations and contact information. This new layout highlights all of our partners on one page! We distribute over 120,000 copies of our Shawangunk Wine Trail Guide & Map year-round in over 600 high traffic locations in 5 states! You’ll find it at visitor centers, cultural attractions, upscale hotels and lodging properties, travel agencies, Amtrak and Metro-North train stations, AAA offices, shopping malls and outlet centers, state government facilities and more.

We work closely with our distribution companies to target strategic locations covering the Hudson Valley region and beyond. You’ll find our guide at Information Centers along the NYS Thruway, south to the boroughs of New York City, and northern New Jersey, the Greater Albany Capital Region and north into the Saratoga Springs region, east into the Berkshires of Massachusetts, North and Eastern Pennsylvania and all of the SWT wineries and everywhere in between, giving this powerful marketing piece an incredible value!

Online at GunksWine.com – Social Media – Monthly E-Newsletter – Referrals
All of our Tourism Partners have a listing on our website, GunksWine.com which receives thousands of unique visitors annually. Our easy-to-navigate, fully responsive website is compatible on any home or mobile device. It’s the first step where visitors go to find their way from winery to winery, learn about special events, and see what area accommodations are offered. The site features separate pages for all of our Tourism Partner categories, including the best in Lodging, Restaurants, Transportation, and Special Attractions in the region.

Social Media
We currently manage three social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter which combined have over 15,000 dedicated followers. Associate Member and Gold Partners are included in our social media outlets via monthly posts/shares. We’ll even highlight one of our Associate Partners each month!

“Through the Grapevine” Monthly E-Newsletter
Our e-news keeps nearly 12,000 opt-in subscribers up to date each month with events happening at our member wineries and SWT special events! All of our Tourism Partners are listed under one of the following categories: transportation, lodging, restaurants, and special attractions.
